Incredible students wow packed crowds at amazing performance of Guys and Dolls
Dozens of students played to a capacity crowd of students, parents and the community over three nights.
Then they also performed to 220 Year 6 students who will be transitioning to TKASA this September.
Among memorable performances, student Tom Hicks played a brilliant performance of Nathan Detroit.
Principal Nathan Jenkins said: “Everyone is thrilled with how the performances have gone. They were magnificent.”
TKASA is a fast improving school that has excellent standards and a brilliant mix of extra curricular activities.
Neville Coles, Executive Principal of The Priory Learning Trust, which runs TKASA, said: “It was a thrill and a delight to see such superb performances across the board. There were really stunning displays of acting and singing.
“It is very important to us that we get great exam results in our Trust - and we do. TKASA is expecting a bumper crop of great outcomes this summer.
“However, we also have a very strong view on making sure all our students are able to access great sporting and musical opportunities - alongside programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
“We think parents and carers really value events such as 'Guys and Dolls'. Thank you for the superb support from the community in Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea in recent times.
“Mr. Jenkins and the team at TKASA are doing a superb job. It is worth noting that we have 130 post-16 students joining TPLT Sixth at TKASA this September. Last year we had just 60’.”
