Monday 11th May - First A Level (written) Examination on the common timetable
Wednesday 24th June - GCSE & A Level National Examination Contingency day (and the last possible day for all exams)
Thursday 13th August - A Level & Level 3 Results issued to Candidates
Thursday 20th August - GCSE & Level 1/2 Results issued to Candidates
By December 2026 - All GCSE & A Level Certificates for Summer 2026 Exams issued to Candidates
Examination Entries & Timetables - Summer 2026
Students will be issued with their personal 'Statement of Entry' in late January/early February 2026. This will confirm what qualifications they have been entered for. It is important you check this information carefully and raise any queries as soon as possible.
Later in term 4 students will be issued with their final personal examination timetable. In the meantime, please find a generic Examination timetable (containing all written exams for Years 10 & 11) for Summer 2026 below.
Please note that AM exams start at 8.50am; PM exams start at 1.20pm. If you have two exams scheduled in the same session (called an 'exam clash') the Examination Officer will contact you in due course with a plan for when and how you will take your exams in that session.
IMPORTANT NOTE - ALTHOUGH THE LAST TIMETABLED EXAMINATION FOR YEAR 11 CURRENTLY IS 17 JUNE. THE AWARDING BODIES HAVE DESIGNATED 24 JUNE AS A NATIONAL EXAM CONTINGENCY DATE AND THEREFORE THE LAST POSSIBLE DATE FOR ALL EXAMS. STUDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO REMAIN AVAILABLE UP TO AND INCLUDING 24 JUNE IN THE EVENT OF ANY AWARDING BODY BEING REQUIRED TO RESCHEDULE AN EXAMINATION DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES.
