Newly extended, our Sixth Form Centre is exclusive for post-16 students, providing a modern and mature space for them to study, socialise and seek support. 

S.P.L.A.S.H (Student Personal Learning And Support Hub) is at the heart of the Centre, acting as the designated zone for quiet study. Supervised by dedicated Learning Mentors who offer assistance with study skills, personalised learning, career pathways and so much more. Students can access a large range of journals, textbooks and other resources to develop and enhance their independent study journey. In addition to this, our University and Career Library provides the opportunity for our students to gain insight and explore avenues that act to raise and drive the aspirations of our students. With student support being a top priority, we also have a dedicated meeting room within S.P.L.A.S.H that offers a private and quiet space which can be used for 1-2-1 wellbeing support, careers advice, university/apprenticeship interviews and even a silent study room for those students who need it. 

Recognising the importance of our students being able to relax and have fun with friends, the Social Hub is a large, open space within the Sixth Form Centre that provides students with the opportunity to take time out from studying. Whether it be playing board games, catching up on the latest news or listening to music on our comfy purple sofas,  there are plenty of ways for the Sixth Form students to unwind! We also have our very own catering service and dedicated dining area within the Sixth Form Centre, offering our students a more mature approach to lunchtime in school. 

We are also fortunate enough to be able to offer our students a vast outdoor space with adjoining decking and seating for sunnier days. You can often spot a number of our students playing football on the large field behind the Sixth Form Centre, whilst our recently added decking area is perfect for both picnicking and studying. 

Whilst education is key to getting our students through their Further Education journey and preparing them for their next steps, it is equally important that our students are supported, nurtured, encouraged and inspired on a personal level and these facilities allow us to achieve this.
