Joining the 6th Form SU affords the opportunity to develop your leadership and interpersonal skills. SU members help organise Freshers’ Week, Rag Week, Christmas Panto, TEDx events, guest speakers and international visits. The committee is an important part of our student voice commitment: it is a chance to change 6th Form life for the better. Many issues get discussed such as prom, RAG Week, trips, etc. The SU provides students with the opportunity to lead various sections such as well-being, green issues and sport -giving you a chance to take responsibility as well as improving your transferable skills. It also looks great on your CV and personal statement!

"The SU plays a crucial role in the Sixth Form, helping create both an academic and social buzz. Our societies bring excellent opportunities to students and we enjoy close working relationships with staff and students across the school, Trust and wider community”

- Jack Millier, SU President, 2020
