Amy achieved 4 A grades in Year 12 and has received an offer for a place to read Law at what, according to the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings, is the 2nd best university in the world. Good luck in 2016 Amy:

‘The King Alfred 6th Form enabled me to prepare very well for university. I have had amazing support throughout my time here, especially during the university application process, including one-on-one interview preparation. The extra-curricular opportunities at the King Alfred 6th Form have enabled me to write a personal statement that displays the super-curricular commitment to my chosen university course.

The Bar Mock Trial competition and Pathways to Law programme have provided me with relevant experience for pursuing a degree in law, they have even allowed me to receive reduced offers into certain Russell Group universities. Furthermore, the opportunity to do an EPQ has allowed me to specialise on a Law related topic and display that I have the skills necessary for a degree level education. The King Alfred 6th Form has allowed me to do all this whilst getting a great education with support from all of my teachers’
